For the Interpretive Center for the Port of New York and New Jersey, exhibition conceptual design focused on the historical and present-day transformation of overseas shipping that started in this port.
The exhibition explores the change from break bulk cargo to containerization to the computerization that continues to innovate how we ship and receive goods.
The personal experiences of the men and woman who worked there inform the story and reveal the science and technology that made this transformation possible.
