Cooking the exhibition

Schematic and detailed design was completed on Cooking: the Exhibition, a planned permanent 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition for Liberty Science Center as well as a 7,000 sq. ft. international traveling exhibition.

When complete, this groundbreaking experience will allow visitors to explore the science and technology behind the shared human experience of cooking by having them prepare food inside the exhibition.

By the end of detailed design, a team that included the White House, Harvard University, and some of the world’s leading chefs, authors, and culinary schools had been formed to support and help develop content and programs.

A unique aspect of this exhibition was the social media web site that allowed the general public to become part of the exhibition design process.
